Duties

- Prepare and assemble a variety of food items with precision and care, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to accurately take orders and process transactions efficiently
- Handle cash and credit card payments responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and balancing registers at shift end
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas following food safety guidelines
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Assist with food handling and storage procedures to uphold proper sanitation and safety protocols

Requirements





- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing
- Robust time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Understanding of sanitation standards, food safety regulations, and proper kitchen procedures
- Kitchen or restaurant experience is highly desirable; serving or cashiering background is beneficial
- Willingness to learn upselling techniques to increase sales opportunities
