Position Title: RTGS Technical Support Supervisor

Duty Station: Central Bank of Yemen (CBY), Aden

National or International Consultancy: National

Duration: Six (6) months, extendable as required. Where feasible, the contractual arrangement may subsequently be transferred to CBY, subject to satisfactory performance appraisal and applicable CBY staffing and employment procedures.

Academic Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer/Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- A relevant Master’s degree or recognized skilled certification is an advantage.

Minimum Years Of Relevant Work Experience

- At least seven (7) years of relevant professional experience in banking IT operations, technical support for banking or payment systems, or other mission-critical systems environments; ten (10) years is preferred.
- At least three (3) years of experience in a supervisory, team-lead, or service-management role.




- Demonstrated experience coordinating with technology vendors, managed service providers, or outsourced technical support teams.
- Experience supporting high-availability production systems, incident management, change/release processes, and operational continuity.
- Strong understanding of system architecture and interfaces, database environments, networks and connectivity, system monitoring, and production support practices.
- Sound understanding of user administration, access controls, segregation of duties, cybersecurity fundamentals, and audit trail requirements.
- Strong incident, problem, escalation, and service-management skills, including structured logging and root-cause follow-up.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills, including task allocation, quality assurance, service coverage planning, coaching, and performance follow-up.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills, with the ability to maintain accurate technical and operational records.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills for coordination with CBY departments, system users, vendors, service providers, and project counterparts.

Required Language(s)

- Fluency in Arabic and working proficiency in English sufficient to use technical documentation, communicate with vendors, participate in trainings, and prepare reports.
