The Lead Solar Installer is responsible for the coordination and installation of solar systems at Aecon Green Energy Solutions.What You’ll Do HereMaintain adherence to company policies, environmental health and safety policies, and good housekeeping practices.Installation and coordination of solar projects.Support site set‑up planning, including logistics coordination and equipment delivery.Train and coach on best practices for installation of equipment and solar components.Perform routine preventative maintenance and technical troubleshooting.Diagnose and troubleshoot various project system issues such as inverters, switchgears, transformers, breakers, and communication equipment.Complete routine safety documentation before every job, including tailgate meetings and electrical work permits.Use quality assurance checklists and inspections to document deficiencies and identify corrective actions.Daily digital reporting and documentation of all work performed.What You Bring To The Team3 years combined work/education experience with electrical/mechanical.Experience as an electrical/mechanical technician with commercial solar.Ability to work without direct supervision.Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.Valid G driver’s license.Working at Heights certification required.Positive verbal and written communication skills.Professional demeanor.Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (e.G., Excel and Word).Working knowledge of LOTO criteria.Ability to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical schematics, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations.Salary & BenefitsThe expected pay range for this role is $60,000 – $75,000 per year. Individual pay is determined based on work location, education, experience, unique skills, and job conditions.
