As a Customer Service Associate, you’ll help create a welcoming space for shoppers and donors, work closely with volunteers, and take on a variety of tasks that keep the store running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

Customer Service

- Greet customers with a friendly welcome and offer helpful assistance.
- Answer questions and share product information to make shopping easy.
- Help customers with purchases, including lifting, bagging, and carrying items to their vehicles.
- Assist donors with product and electronic waste drop-offs.
- Process transactions (cash, debit, credit) accurately and follow cash register procedures.

Store Operations

- Keep the store safe, clean,



and well-organized.
- Help unload, process, and display incoming products.
- Assemble and repair items as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and report hazards promptly.
- Support volunteers and work together as a team to get things done.
- Take on other tasks as assigned by the Manager-on-Duty.

Represent Habitat for Humanity

What We’re Looking For

- Friendly, positive, and reliable.
- Secondary School diploma.
- At least 1 year of retail customer service (or related) experience.
- Able to work in a fast-paced setting, independently and with others.
- Strong communication skills.
- Comfortable using a computer and cash register.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 50 lbs.

Knowledge of home repairs, building materials, or tools is an asset. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
