Full rate effective after 1 year of service)ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT:The Cleaner will provide ongoing cleaning/labour services to the division in a secure and efficient manner.MAJOR DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:Cleaning/washing of railway equipment, coaches, parts and shop facilitiesAdapts to new methods, processes, material and equipmentFollows prescribed safety procedures including the use of safety clothing and equipmentPerforms other related duties as assignedCurrent shift schedule is: Tuesday - Friday 12:00 a.M. to 8:00 a.M. & Saturday 8:00 a.M. to 4:00 p.M.REQUIREMENTS:Secondary School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)Previous cleaning and/or labour experienceGood interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written)Excellent organizational and planning skillsDemonstrated ability to work in a team environmentAbility to work various shifts (including weekends and over night)
