Salesforce CPQ Project Manager

Canada (Remote)

Experience Required: 10+ years of experience in the IT industry, with strong project management experience in Salesforce delivery engagements.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager based out of Canada to lead end-to-end delivery of Salesforce projects, manage customer expectations, drive project governance, and ensure successful delivery within agreed scope, timelines, quality standards, and budget. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Agile project delivery, stakeholder management, Salesforce Core Cloud, CPQ, and managing cross-functional technology teams.

Mandatory Skills

- Salesforce Core Cloud experience, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud delivery exposure.
- Salesforce CPQ experience and understanding of quote-to-cash business processes.
- Strong Agile Project Management experience, preferably with Scrum delivery practices.
- Excellent customer communication, stakeholder management, and escalation handling skills.
- Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, issue management, resource planning, billing, and delivery tracking.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage overall project delivery and take end-to-end ownership of project planning, execution, monitoring, governance, and closure.
- Manage all project resources and assume responsibility for overall project delivery management at Persistent.
- Participate in project team meetings and communicate effectively with peers, architects, system analysts, business analysts, project managers, quality teams, and other technology stakeholders.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into a clear Statement of Work, delivery plan, scope definition, assumptions, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure adherence to the approved Statement of Work with respect to scope, cost, budget, timelines, quality, and delivery commitments.
- Prepare and publish weekly status reports covering progress, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, financials, resource utilization,



and key decisions.
- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and release planning.
- Ensure effective utilization of the project team and proactively manage capacity, allocation, productivity, and delivery risks.
- Conduct performance check-ins, appraisals, and timely feedback discussions with team members to support ongoing improvement and professional growth.
- Ensure knowledge is properly documented, maintained, and shared across the team to support continuity and reduce delivery dependency risks.
- Ensure the team follows defined quality standards, delivery processes, compliance requirements, and organizational benchmarks.
- Manage customer communication, issue resolution, risk identification, mitigation planning, escalation handling, and stakeholder alignment.
- Ensure accurate billing, invoicing support, effort tracking, and financial governance for engineering and delivery activities.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

- PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent project management certification.
- Hands-on project management experience in Salesforce implementation, enhancement, integration, or managed services projects.
- Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant, or Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification.
- Experience working with North American customers and managing Canada-based or multi-location delivery teams.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
- Robust understanding of financial tracking, forecasting, invoicing support, and delivery profitability metrics.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodology, Scrum framework, project lifecycle management, and release governance.
- Ability to manage distributed teams, customer stakeholders, internal leadership, and cross-functional delivery teams.
- Strong analytical, planning, prioritization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
