Our client, a prominent broader public sector institution in British Columbia, is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Salesforce) to join their team.
This role will lead large-scale, complex enterprise software implementations as part of the Transformation programme. You will oversee the full project lifecycle—from discovery through implementation—ensuring alignment with the long-term Enterprise CRM roadmap.
This is a permanent, long-term opportunity to drive digital transformation in a high-visibility role. It is hybrid 2-3 days in Vancouver ; compensation includes solid benefits and pension in addition to base salary.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the Graduate Student Experience Transformation project within a unified Salesforce Education Cloud setting
- Partner with the Salesforce Platform Lead to define and execute the long-term Enterprise CRM rollout strategy
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including scope, sequencing, scheduling, and budgeting of implementation plans
- Oversee procurement activities, including RFIs/RFPs and vendor selection for large-scale SaaS implementation partners
- Maintain and manage RAID logs, identifying risks early and developing autonomous mitigation strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams and bridge gaps between central IT and decentralized academic units
- Manage complex inter-dependencies between Salesforce release cycles, vendor updates, and university timelines
- Work on SOWs and RFPs to select vendors
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure continuous improvement and quality objectives are met
What You Bring
- 10+ years of Senior PM experience leading complex enterprise software implementations
- Proven, recent experience managing Salesforce implementations (Education Cloud or Service Cloud preferred)
- Demonstrated success in a "Problem Solver" capacity, managing project friction and risks with minimal escalation
- Mastery of project monitoring and control, maintaining rigorous health metrics and data integrity
- Experience working in Public Sector or Higher Education environments an asset
- Expertise in managing hybrid delivery models involving both internal staff and external implementation partners
- Strong background in procurement, budget development, and financial management
- Active PMP designation is required; Salesforce Associate or Cloud Strategy certifications are a significant asset
- Professional experience with COTS systems, data migration, and enterprise-wide systems integration
