Job DetailsThis role is in support of Cencora’s patient and provider support and pharma commercialization services in Canada marketed through our Innomar Strategies business.Part timeResponsibilitiesAdminister medications (IM, SC and IV as applicable) in home or specialty clinic settingsSupport/monitor administration of IV infusion treatments in the clinic and/or homecare settingMonitor post‑injection/infusion treatments as well as chart and report on all activities as directed by program protocols and standards of professional nursing documentationProvide patient education based on program protocols, individually or in groupsReport adverse events, serious adverse events, product complaints in accordance with Innomar training and policies & proceduresProvide reliable availability based on the agreed upon employment agreement to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and clinics Key Performance IndicatorsCoordinate daily with patients, case managers, physicians, scheduling and other departments to meet established timelines for scheduling appointments, treatments, and communication of informationPerform administrative duties such as monthly clinic audits, supply ordering and other duties as assignedParticipate regularly in team web‑based meetings/training sessions with the Business Area Manager, RNE and Nurse Champion to maintain and enhance professional practice standardsParticipate in specialized client‑related trainings as requiredConsult with physicians, pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients regarding education and implementation of product specific programsRequired to travel within your designated IBU and surrounding IBUs to meet the operational needsRequired to follow all nursing and clinic standard operating procedures and Work InstructionsRequired to follow all Health and Safety standards as per the provincial Health and safety ActRequired to complete ongoing and annual education training as per the training matrix within the specified timeframesAdhere to professional nursing standards as prescribed by the professional associations, regulatory bodies and the company policies and proceduresPerform related duties and tasks as required by InnomarMay be required to be on standby/on call to meet the service needsEducationCurrent registration with provincial licensing bodyDiploma/University degree in nursing or related fieldWork ExperienceMinimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Practical Nurse/Licensed Practical NurseExperience with IV therapy is an assetExperience in acute care inpatient/outpatient or homecare settingACLS, PALs, MS and CVAA Certification, and central venous lines/port experience are considered assetsKnowledge of cell phone for making and confirming appointments/assignments and fax machinesDemonstrated excellent customer service skills in dealing with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teamAble to work autonomously with little supervision as part of a larger teamAble to travel to clinics and homecare appointments within a set geographical boundaryFlexibility to provide services for pre‑scheduled and occasional last minute patient appointment requestsEffective organizational skills; attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writingStrong written and verbal communication skillsAble to work in both a team and independent settingAble to travel within a geographical boundaryHold and maintain a valid, non‑expired, unrestricted driver’s license and insurance coverageThe successful candidate may have daily contacts with unilingual English‑speaking customers, patients or peers from cross‑functional teams.What Cencora offersWe provide compensation, benefits, and resources that enable a highly inclusive culture and support our team members’ ability to live with purpose every day.
