Responsibilities

- Prepare fresh sandwiches and salads according to established recipes and customer preferences, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Greet guests warmly, take their orders accurately using the POS (Point of Sale) system, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation standards throughout your shift
- Manage multiple tasks effectively by prioritizing orders, managing time efficiently, and ensuring timely service during busy periods
- Upsell menu items by recommending popular or complementary products to enhance the customer experience and increase sales




- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safe preparation and storage of ingredients
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and deliver outstanding service

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a passion for food and customer service is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar point-of-sale technology
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing transactions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude that makes guests feel valued
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a quick-paced environment
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
