Duties

- Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble sandwiches according to customer preferences and company standards
- Use food handling techniques to ensure safety, sanitation, and quality in every creation
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashing out customers and balancing registers
- Engage with customers through friendly service, upselling menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food prep areas in compliance with food safety regulations




- Assist with inventory management by restocking ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is highly preferred; restaurant experience is a plus
- Solid understanding of POS systems, including Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly without sacrificing quality
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, order calculations, and inventory counts
- Customer service-oriented attitude with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Kitchen or food industry experience that demonstrates familiarity with serving environments and food preparation processes
