Robertson is seeking a skilled IT - Data Solutions Developer IV to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.

Contract Period: 12 months Pay Rate: Starting form $72 per hour Location : Toronto, ON Location Type: Hybrid Business Hours: Monday-Friday, Core business hours Job Responsibilities : Develop and maintain architectures, such as databases and large-scale processing systems, to handle the collection, storage, and retrieval of large datasets Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data requirements, pipeline design, and data aggregation and transformation Implement data privacy and security measures to ensure adherence to compliance standards and protection of sensitive information Optimize data retrieval and develop dashboards, reports, and other visualization tools to present data insights to end-users effectively Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to identify data-related issues and ensure data quality and integrity Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data solutions to recommend and implement improvements to existing systems Experience & Qualification Requirements : Bachelor’s in computer science or IT degree required 8 to 10 years SQL, SCALA,



AKKA/PEKKO, data modelling experience required 5 to 8 years of big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data pipeline and workflow management tools experience required Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address data-related challenges Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Scala Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members 2 to 3 years of AKKA/PEKKO 5 years of Scala experience Databricks Background screening is required as part of the onboarding process. The type of screening required (criminal, credit, or other verifications) will vary based on the position and client requirements.
