Career Details

Job Title: Scaffolder Apprentices/Journeypersons

Number of Openings: 3

Job Type: Fulltime

Minimum Level of Education: 2nd year - Journeyperson

Application Deadline: Until Filled

Location: Various locations

Shift Rotation: Varies depending on location

Hours Per Day: 10hrs

Start Date: ASAP

Transfer: There is a possibility of transferring to other job sites once this job is complete

Position Summary





We are seeking multiple Scaffolder Apprentices/Journeyperson for resourcing scaffold work on a job site in Fort Sask, AB. The successful candidate will report to the site supervisor.

Other responsibilities include:

- Unloading scaffolding equipment in office.
- Ensuring a stable base for scaffolding.
- Erecting scaffolding poles.
- Fixing scaffolding to buildings or structures.
- Laying planks for workers to walk on.
- Fixing guard rails and safety netting.
- Calculating weight of materials and/or spools to ensure proper equipment is used.
- Complying with ONEX’s and client safety policies and procedures.

Our Ideal Candidate

- Experience with scaffolding preferred (2nd year to Journeyperson).
- Drug & Alcohol testing requires will vary from site to site.
- 3-5 years of applicable experience.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, ESC H2S Alive, ESC Fall Protection & First Aid.
- Must be capable of physical labour.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet quality standards.
- Organizational and time management skills.
