Introduces students to lower-level computer operations and the association with higher-level procedural programming constructs. Topics include binary representation of data, instruction formats and execution, assembler programming, scope, functions, user-defined data types using both low- and high-level programming languages.

Prerequisite: CS 1303 with a minimum grade of C or permission of the instructor.

Corequisite: CS 2263 or CS 2617.

- Must be taken at the same time as this course.The successful applicant will possess, at minimum, a Masters degree in CS. Requests will be considered on the basis of qualifications, experience required and the availability of the employee to perform the required duties at scheduled times. *Subject to minimum enrollment of 15
