Role Description The Scotia Jarislowsky Fraser, Wealth Manager-Toronto is a full-time, in office role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive wealth management advice, including financial planning, investment management, and risk management strategies tailored to client objectives. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients to review portfolios, assessing market conditions, preparing recommendations, and implementing investment and insurance solutions aligned with Scotia Wealth Management’s Total Wealth and Enriched Thinking® approach.

The Wealth

Manager collaborates closely with relationship managers and internal specialists to deliver coordinated, high-quality service,



while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. The role also involves ongoing client relationship development, proactive communication, and identifying opportunities to enhance clients’ overall financial well-being.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Financial Planning, including retirement planning, tax-aware strategies, and long-term wealth preservation.
- Expertise in Investment Management and Investments, with the ability to construct and monitor diversified portfolios aligned with client risk profiles and goals.
- Solid knowledge of Finance principles, including cash flow analysis, balance sheet review, and capital markets understanding.
- Working knowledge of Insurance solutions, including risk management strategies to protect clients’ assets and income.
- Relevant professional designation(s) such as CFP, CIM, CFA, or equivalent, and post-secondary education in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in wealth management or advisory roles, with strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-based setting while exercising sound judgment and ethical decision-making.
- Familiarity with Canadian regulatory requirements and industry standards, and proficiency with portfolio management and CRM tools.
- Mandarin and Cantonese are assets
