Provides an exceptional customer experience, represents customers’ best interests, and determines customers’ needs, recommends solutions, and finalizes the sale of products and/or services. Completes internal work and procedures to ensure a positive customer experience.Typical Duties & ResponsibilitiesPromote the sale of products and/or services on an initiated and/or demand basis in a competitive environment to meet sales targets.Determine customer needs and recommend solutions, utilizing support personnel as required.Handle device hardware and accessory setup, review customer contracts, and educate customers about their services.Develop and maintain a working knowledge of SaskTel’s products, services, systems, and pricing options.Handle all customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues professionally and in a timely manner to meet service and productivity targets.Arrange customer security deposits, handle cash and payments, reconcile daily sales and bill payments, and prepare bank deposits.Capture customer requirements, review work orders for accuracy, and correct errors on customer accounts.Participate in sales campaigns and retention activities on an initiated and/or demand basis.Maintain related reports.Manage retail sales, product returns and repairs, trade show participation, equipment demonstrations, product displays,



and attend customer premises as required.Monitor and administer stock inventory for products available through the retail outlet.Assist other internal departments as required.QualificationsWorking knowledge of techniques needed to persuasively promote the sale of products and/or services, typically gained through 2 years experience in a sales role.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence, persuade, and deal effectively with others.Working knowledge of SaskTel’s products and services.Analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.Working knowledge of personal computers and various software applications.Ability to multi‑task.Ability to plan and organize in a self‑directed and public environment.Ability to work under continual pressure, and adapt to a constantly changing work setting.Keyboarding skills 20 WPM.Successful completion of prescribed training courses.Culture & ValuesUpholds foundational values of honesty, integrity, and respect.Consistently demonstrates our culture: Think Big, Make a Difference, Focus on Experiences, and working as OneSaskTel Team.This is an on‑site position located at Moose Jaw, SK.
