Employees may receive additional stipend for on‑call support.Bonus:Target bonus of $19,400 based on performance and business results.Job ResponsibilitiesDaily management of the fleet operation in Ontario, including supervising union drivers and enforcing safety and performance standards.Creating and posting daily shipping logs; assigning driversto activities and ensuring T1 and T2 transport requirements are met.Supporting third‑party carrier operations for Ontario loads, managing load tendering, follow‑ups, and performance monitoring.Collaborating with Brewery Operations to fulfill transport requirements and empty bottle logistics.Resolving problems and implementing corrective measures and process improvements.Managing KPIs and performance indicators to improve productivity, efficiency, and financial targets through Labatt’s excellence program.Continuously managing costs and identifying opportunities across the transport network.Applying budgetary knowledge to proactively identify and implement cost improvements,
delivering overall logistics cost performance.Leading safety and environmental programs within staging facilities to ensure compliance and a productive work environment.Managing union/management processes and relationships within warehouse/staging facilities.Training and providing leadership to workers in brewery and warehouse operations, including innovation programs.Conducting coaching, performance management, and reviews for staging/warehouse team members.Monitoring driver scorecards and behavior through Geotab to improve performance and compliance with company guidelines.Utilizing Geotab to monitor Highway Traffic Act compliance.Performing quarterly territory planning analysis to optimize routes to market.Completing daily routing plans aligned with customer requirements while balancing cost and service levels.Being on call 24/7 for driver emergencies or inquiries.Calculating and executing driver payroll daily.Job RequirementsPost‑secondary education in business, supply chain, production, or manufacturing management (2–3 years).Minimum of 2–3 years of direct supervisory experience in warehouse/transport operations within a unionized workplace.Hands‑on experience managing large teams of up to 50 employees.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of operational excellence.Adaptability to cross‑functional collaboration and sensitive issue resolution.Excellent computer, analytical,
and problem‑solving abilities.Technical competencies: advanced knowledge of Roadnet/Descartes, SAP, Geotab, High Jump, Excel, and Power BI.Background in continuous improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma, White Belt certification).Completion of a management leadership program is strongly preferred.Experience in Consumer‑Packaged Goods (CPG) or Supply Excellence program.Compensation and BenefitsEligible for discretionary bonuses and/or salary increases in accordance with company policy.
