The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment within a high‑purity, corrosive, industrial manufacturing environment. This role requires a hands‑on, safety‑focused professional who can work independently as well as part of a team. Experience with Allen‑Bradley PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motor controls, and Eaton electrical distribution/control equipment is an asset.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Installation & MaintenanceInstall, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, wiring,
and control systemsTroubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions efficientlyTest electrical systems and components to ensure proper operation and compliance with codesAssist in upgrading and modifying electrical systems as requiredSupport organization and accuracy of electrical spare parts inventoryAssist with the commissioning of recent equipmentSafety & ComplianceAdhere to all company safety procedures, electrical codes, and regulatory requirementsUse appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all timesIdentify and report electrical hazards or unsafe conditions promptlyEnsuring compliance with various government regulations including but not limited to Environmental, Health and Safety, Building Codes, TSSA and Electrical Codes.Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs, inspections, and repair activitiesAssist with preventive maintenance schedules and reportingSupport special projects as assigned by the SupervisorRequired Skills and QualificationsValid 442A Industrial Electrician Certificate of Qualification or 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician Certificate of Qualification. 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright or dual‑ticket experience is considered an asset.Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience as an industrial/maintenance electricianMinimum 3 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing electrical workStrong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, control panels, and wiring practicesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsStrong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skillsExcellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a teamAbility to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, bending, and working at heights if required.What We OfferCompetitive compensation and benefits package.A collaborative and innovation‑driven work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and meaningful project involvement.Inclusion StatementWe are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourage applications from all qualified candidates.
