The role supports projects for formulation development, research and development and contract manufacturing partners within the worldwide Apotex microbiology network.Job ResponsibilitiesDisplays an understanding of and proficiency in microbiological method development, conducting method suitability testing.Good understanding of microbiology and the compendial requirements pertaining to method suitability testing. Works collaboratively with microbiologists and the supervisor in troubleshooting obstacles.Demonstrates a good working knowledge of LIMS.Assists senior microbiologist in the execution of protocols.Plans individual projects to ensure timely completion.Reviews work for accuracy and alignment with procedures.Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills; written technicalclarity.Supports projects in global harmonization of microbial practices,

Able to interpret results and work with minimal supervision. Knowledge of microbiological techniques, compendia, regulatory requirements, Good Laboratory Practices. Detail oriented with excellent problem‑solving skills. Proven organizational and time‑management skills.Experience:1 year’s experience in a microbiology laboratory preferred. Experience in pharmaceutical microbiology is an asset.
