Our client, a large and well-established manufacturing organization, is seeking a hands-onSenior Project Managerto lead major capital projects and drive operational improvements within one of their most critical facilities.This is not a desk-only project management role.This position is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys being on the production floor, and takes true ownership of projects from concept through commissioning. The successful candidate will be highly visible within the operation and comfortable working directly alongside plant leadership, maintenance, contractors, and production teams.This role offers the opportunity to manage projects ranging from tens of thousands of dollars up to $30M+ while helping shape one of the company’s fastest-growing departments.Location:Burlington, ONJob Type:Full time | PermanentSalary:$130,000 – $150,000 + Bonus16.5% annual bonus based on company performance3 weeks vacationHealth & Dental benefits after 1 month4.5% pension matching after 1 yearWhat You’ll Be Responsible ForManaging capital projects from cradle to grave: Concept development; Budgeting and cost tracking; Managing RFPs andvendor negotiations; Project execution;Commissioning and final handoffProviding technical support and troubleshooting assistance for plant equipment and servicesDriving continuous improvement initiatives focused on: Productivity; Efficiency; Process optimization; Food safetyPartnering closely with Plant Managers and operational leadership to improve overall plant performanceWorking with contractors, trades,

The environment is highly operational, rapid-paced, and requires someone comfortable spending significant time on the production floor.The expectation is that this person will become deeply integrated into the operation by:Walking the floor regularlyBuilding relationships across departmentsUnderstanding how the plant functions day-to-dayMaintaining direct visibility on projects rather than managing remotelySuccess in this role means becoming a trusted and recognized presence within the facility.QualificationsPost-secondary degree in EngineeringMinimum 7 years of progressive engineering/technical experience within manufacturingMinimum 5 years managing capital projectsStrong technical and project management backgroundManufacturing experience is requiredExperience within food or perishable goods manufacturing is strongly preferredPreferred BackgroundsFood manufacturingHeavy industrial manufacturingHighly operational, production-driven environmentsAdditional DetailsProjects valued up to $30M+National travel requiredSchedule is largely self-managedOccasional weekend work may be required during production shutdownsTime off in lieu is provided for additional hours worked#J-18808-Ljbffr
