Working alongside the Shop Manager, you’ll oversee daily workflow, coordinate maintenance and repairs, assign priorities, and act as the key communication link between shop staff and operational teams. This role is ideal for a certified 310T or 310S technician with proven leadership experience who excels at organization, communication, and maintaining high safety and performance standards. If you take pride in guiding teams and keeping operations running efficiently, this opportunity may be a great fit.Your Day‑to‑DayWork alongside the Shop Manager to assist in delegating, prioritizing, and assigning workload for mechanics and shop staffSafely operate various vehicles, equipment, and toolsOversee and assign minor and major repairs on equipment, including but not limited to trailers, power‑operated equipment and hand toolsCommunication point for shop personnel and project managersMonitor shop inventory and coordinate the ordering of parts as neededResponsible for keeping accurate computerized records of time and parts used on work order tasksAssist in the development of transportation maintenance and repair proceduresDirect, instruct,



and work with department staff and other co‑workers on vehicle/equipment repair and maintenance issuesWork with individual vehicle/equipment operators to understand and solve complaints and concerns regarding proper vehicle/equipment maintenance and operationReinforce compliance with all company policies and procedures: safety standards operations, maintenance, training, cleanliness standards, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) etcMaintain a clean and tidy work environment and equipmentPerform other related duties as assignedYou Are a Good Fit If You HaveRequired310T/310S CertificationMinimum three (3) years of experience working as a 310T mechanicMinimum one (1) year experience in a supervisory or management role, including working in a unionized environmentValid G Class Driver’s LicenseStrong commitment to safety and teamworkConsidered an AssetExperience in the concrete or construction industrySkills & AbilitiesAbility to monitor and review equipment repairsAbility to understand, identify and apply provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulationsLeadership skills including understanding delegation, conflict resolution,
