The Role

As a Senior Accountant at Vecta Book, you'll take ownership of complex accounting engagements for U.S.-based CPA firms. Your responsibilities include:

✓ Preparing and reviewing financial statements

✓ Managing general ledger reconciliations and transaction coding

✓ Drafting filing-ready tax returns and supporting schedules

✓ Supervising junior accounting staff

✓ Monitoring payroll processing and compliance

✓ Collaborating with client teams across QuickBooks Online, FreshBooks, Sage, NetSuite, and similar platforms

✓ Driving process improvements and advisory insights





What We're Looking For

✓ Strong accounting skills: GL management, financial statement prep, account reconciliation

✓ Tax expertise: U.S. tax concepts, return preparation, compliance

✓ Proficiency in accounting/payroll software (QB Online, FreshBooks, Sage, NetSuite)

✓ Financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling capabilities

✓ Excellent communication and time-management skills for remote collaboration

✓ Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred; professional designations (CA, ACCA, CPA) a strong plus

✓ Prior experience in public accounting, outsourced services, or supporting CPA firms
