About the Role The Senior Specialist, Data Automation Engineering plays a key role in advancing automation and AI capabilities across the Data Hub. This position focuses on designing and implementing intelligent automation solutions, AI-powered workflows, and innovative AI technologies that improve efficiency, accelerate delivery, and enable scalable data operations.

As a strategic enabler for Data Engineering, Data Management, Data Quality, and Data Products, you will identify automation opportunities, assess emerging AI technologies, and deliver solutions that generate measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement intelligent automation solutions and AI-driven workflows.
- Build and deploy AI agents, copilots, and Generative AI applications to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Evaluate, prototype, and recommend AI platforms, frameworks, and services that support enterprise automation initiatives.
- Assess AI use cases and develop business cases, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI modeling, infrastructure and compute cost evaluation, and business value realization.
- Partner with technical and business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and drive AI adoption.
- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, cloud platforms, and data ecosystems.
- Establish best practices for scalable automation, governance, monitoring, and responsible AI usage.




- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative approaches to solve business challenges.

Required Qualifications

- Solid expertise in automation, AI solutions, and intelligent workflow design.
- Hands-on experience building AI agents, copilots, workflow automation solutions, or Generative AI applications.
- Experience working with AI platforms, frameworks, or services such as Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar technologies.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience developing integrations through APIs and enterprise platforms.
- Experience evaluating AI use cases, including:
- Cost-benefit analysis
- ROI modeling
- Infrastructure and compute cost assessment
- Business value realization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with multi-agent systems, RAG solutions, and LLM-powered applications.
- Experience driving AI adoption and digital transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI, and LLMOps practices.
- Experience working in Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud environments.
