Job Title:Flatbed Truck DriverCompany:Canada Cartage System LPLocation:Mississauga, ON, L5S 1L8Work Location:On-site (no remote work available)Position Type:Full-time, PermanentVacancy:1Wage:$27.09 per hour (50 hours per week)Language of work:EnglishClosing Date : July 03, 2026NOC Code:73300 – Transport Truck DriversOverviewWe are seeking a reliable and experiencedAZ licensed Flat Deck (Flatbed) Truck Driverto join our transportation team in Mississauga, Ontario.The successful candidate will be responsible for the secure and efficient transportation of oversized, heavy, and general freight using flatbed trailers across local and regional routes.We welcome applications from qualified drivers currently holding a valid AZ license in Canada.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate AZ-class tractor-trailer with flatbed equipment safely and efficientlyOperate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materialsPlan or adjust routes using GPS or navigation systems to optimize efficiencyLoad and unload goods and ensure cargo is properly secured using tarps, chains, straps, and bindersPerform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems and equipmentOversee vehicle condition including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipmentMaintain accurate records including driver logbooks, bills of lading, inspection reports, and trip reportsReceive and relay information to dispatch and report delays, issues, or incidentsRecord cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumptionEnsure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standardsMandatory RequirementsValid AZ (Class 1)
