Mechanical Designer / E.I.T. – Building EngineeringFull-TimeLocation: Calgary, AlbertaSalary: $75k - $90k + (Based on experience)About The RoleWe are seeking an experiencedMechanical Designer / Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.). The ideal candidate brings strong technical design skills, experience delivering mechanical building systems across a range of project types, and the ambition to grow toward a senior designer or project engineer role. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects in the commercial, residential, institutional, and healthcare sectors within a collaborative, multidisciplinary consulting environment.Mechanical Design & EngineeringDesign and develop mechanical building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and hydronic systems.Perform load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork and piping layouts, and system sizing.Prepare high-quality design drawings, models, and technical documentation using Revit MEP and AutoCAD.Assist in developing mechanical specifications, system narratives, and control sequences.Project CoordinationCollaborate with architects, structural engineers, electrical teams, and other disciplines to ensure coordinated project delivery.Participate in design meetings, respond to technical queries, and support project managers as required.Construction AdministrationConduct site reviews, prepare field reports, and verify contractor work for compliance with design intent.Review shop drawings, RFIs, change orders,
