Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate innovation and ensure the platform’s future readiness in supporting structured notes, options, swaps, and equity derivatives.Additional InformationThe base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto, ON/Montreal, QC is CAD $110k – CAD $120k/year & benefits (see below).ResponsibilitiesDrive architectural evolution and software development to modernize the Sophis platform.Design and implement solutions using C#, C++,
and Python across Windows and Unix systems.Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges.Collaborate globally to provide technical leadership, mentorship, and strategic guidance.Promote DevOps practices, improve deployment pipelines and enhance operational reliability.Use AI‑assisted coding tools to improve code quality and accelerate development.Work closely with business partners to understand lifecycle processes of equity derivatives.Contribute to support activities and knowledge sharing.Requirements7+ years of experience in Capital Markets technology, with expertise in trading/risk systems.Advanced skills in C#, C++, and Python.Deep understanding of equity derivatives products and lifecycle.Proven ability to resolve performance and scalability issues.Experience working with global distributed teams.Domain knowledge of structured notes, options, swaps.Experience with Sophis platform, AI development tools, DevOps, and platform modernization.We OfferA multinational organization with 60 offices in 20 countries and the possibility to work abroad.15 days (3 weeks) of paid annual leave plus an additional 10 days of personal leave (floating days and sick days).A comprehensive insurance plan including medical, dental, vision, life insurance,
