Role Description The Senior Architect Consultant – Revenue Recognition and Billing Systems will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex revenue recognition and billing platforms for telecom and financial services clients. This on-site role, based in Canada, involves working closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical groups to translate regulatory, accounting, and operational requirements into scalable solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing existing systems, defining target architectures, guiding solution design, and overseeing integration with ERP, CRM, and data platforms.

The consultant will provide technical leadership to project teams, review designs and code for alignment with architecture standards,



and ensure systems meet performance, security, and compliance goals. The role also includes preparing technical documentation, supporting pre-sales activities when required, and mentoring team members on best practices in revenue and billing architectures.

Qualifications

- Strong experience architecting and implementing revenue recognition and billing systems, preferably in telecom or financial services.
- Expertise in system integration, API design, and data flows between billing, ERP, CRM, and financial reporting platforms.
- Solid understanding of accounting and regulatory requirements related to revenue recognition (e.g., IFRS, ASC standards) and how they translate into system design.
- Proficiency with contemporary enterprise technologies such as cloud platforms, data integration tools, and microservices-based architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct requirements analysis, create solution blueprints, and lead end-to-end architecture governance.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business, finance, and engineering, in a consulting or client-facing environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience working in global delivery or multi-location project environments is an asset.
