Our client - A large industrial organization based out of Oshawa - is looking to hire a Senior Architect - Data Integration for a 1 year contract position. This is a hybrid role - on-site two days/week in Oshawa.

We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to deliver innovative, effective architecture solutions aligned with organizational goals and technology strategies. In this role, you will:

- Design and develop comprehensive architecture solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and modern technology practices.
- Guide teams in adopting contemporary development frameworks and technologies, including Angular, React, .NET, SQL, and advanced data platforms.
- Leverage Microsoft Azure to architect scalable, reliable cloud solutions.
- Develop and manage APIs for seamless data integration across platforms.
- Implement DevOps practices to enhance continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
- Design and implement SCADA and Pi solutions to optimize operational efficiency.
- Architect and design APIs for seamless data integration across platforms.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Provide leadership in adopting architecture and design patterns such as microservices and MVC.

Qualifications

- Minimum 10 years’ experience in solution design and architecture, with a proven track record as a Solution Architect or similar role.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, integration platforms, API management, DevOps, SCADA systems, and Pi solutions.
- Proficient in architecture and design patterns, including microservices and MVC.
- Experienced in transitioning from monolithic to service-based architectures and containerizing applications.
- Skilled with Angular, React, .NET, SQL, and upgrading legacy systems (Visual Basic 6, Centura, Gupta).
- Expertise in data platform development, Business Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, SAP Certification, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or similar are highly desirable.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry
