Expected Compensation: Tierney Stauffer offers a blended compensation model that includes a base pay as well as an unlimited bonus model based upon total realized billings. For this position, we would expect the total compensation to be $120,000 – $170,000 annually, with potential to higher overall compensation, commensurate with experience and results.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Associate lawyer with eight or more years of experience in Corporate Law to advise our diverse portfolio of clients on complex corporate and commercial matters as well as commercial real estate. In this role, you will draft definitive agreements, help structure transactional deals, assist with corporate and commercial transactions, and provide strategic advice to support our clients' business goals.

and your own existing solid counsel relationships providing further ongoing opportunity and files, we are seeking an energetic and client-passionate lawyer. Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on shareholder agreements, mergers and acquisitions (M&A;), corporate reorganizations, commercial transactions, and commercial real estate.
- Draft, review, and negotiate shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, and commercial leases.
- Conduct thorough legal due diligence for corporate acquisitions and financing activities.
- Ensure client business practices comply with relevant federal and provincial regulations.
- Foster and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with new and existing corporate clients.
Qualifications & Skills
- Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO) as a licensed Lawyer.
- Eight or more years of experience in this field of practice under Canadian law.
- Prior work experience in a law firm.
- A passionate commitment to clients.
- Proven experience managing corporate transactional work and commercial file management with high English fluency.
- Excellent legal drafting skills.
- Strong organization, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- A strong collaborative player that works and plays well in the highly connected Tierney Stauffer team culture.
- Environmental law experience or interest would be a valued asset.
- The ability to speak multiple languages is not required but would also be a valued asset.
