Senior QA Automation / Test Automation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation / Test Automation Specialist with strong experience in test automation, performance testing, API testing, and enterprise QA environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify opportunities to improve and automate software testing processes.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated QA tests and test automation frameworks .
- Develop automation scripts using tools such as Selenium .
- Evaluate and utilize emerging test automation technologies, including AI .
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and non-functional testing.
- Conduct enterprise-level performance testing using LoadRunner .
- Perform API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or programming languages.
- Test REST/JSON/XML, HL7/FHIR , APIs, integrations, and web applications.
- Perform security testing involving SAML and JWT .
- Perform SQL/data validation and BI solution testing.
- Conduct accessibility testing against WCAG 2.0/AODA requirements.
- Create test strategies, test plans, test cases, scripts, and test reports.
- Track and manage defects using Jira, Confluence, or TestRail .




- Participate in defect triage, walkthroughs, QA meetings, and production release validation.

Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of QA, software testing, and test automation experience.
- Strong experience designing and developing test automation frameworks .
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and at least one programming language.
- Experience with LoadRunner or equivalent enterprise performance testing tools.
- Experience with API, web services, integration, security, database, and accessibility testing.
- Experience working with Agile, traditional, and DevOps environments.
- Solid defect management, troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- 5+ years of public-sector healthcare experience is required/preferred based on project requirements.
- Experience with large, complex healthcare IT projects is highly desirable.

Nice to Have
- Public-sector healthcare experience.
- HL7/FHIR experience.
- Experience applying AI/emerging technologies to test automation.
- Knowledge of public-sector I⁢ methodologies, Enterprise Architecture, and project governance processes.
