We're looking for a Senior Backend Python Developer to join a team building secure, scalable, high-performance platforms for a core banking environment, candidates who have hands-on experience building production web applications/platforms with Python as their primary backend language.

What we're looking for:

- Solid professional Python backend development
- 5+ years software development experience
- Strong understanding of transactions, isolation levels, locking & deadlocks
- RabbitMQ or similar messaging systems
- Docker / containerized applications
- Experience owning features end-to-end

Nice to have:

- Banking / Financial Services / FinTech
- Payroll integrations

What you'll work on:

- Design and build scalable Python backend services
- Develop distributed microservices and REST APIs
- Design solutions for high-volume transaction processing
- Optimize performance and reliability
- Participate in architecture and system-design discussions
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Work closely with product, engineering and cross-functional teams
