Graphic DesignerWe are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Team on a 12-month contract. This exciting role is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic, creative and focused team to highlight and build the Nature's Fare Markets brand. It is a full‑time temporary contract position for 12 months starting mid/late April 2026. This is also a rare opportunity to bring your graphic design experience to work in beautiful Vernon, BC, where our head office and creative team are located. This position is an in‑person role that requires attending our office in Vernon, so candidates must be located within daily driving distance of Vernon.Compensation: $55,000 – $63,000 per year; compensation willconsider location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.20% store discountEducation allowanceFree swag (products, food, clothing + more)Share in some laughs, air high‑fives, and fun each dayWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:Ideate and execute impactful, on‑brand design for campaigns and initiatives across channels, including in-store, web, email, social, and internal communications.Translate campaign concepts intochannel‑specific layouts, optimizing for format, placement, motion, and performance without losing the conceptual idea.Execute on‑brand creative that ensures consistency and effective messaging hierarchy.Develop production‑ready artwork that spans both print and digital mediums.Capture and create photo and video assets for social media.Partner closely with the marketing team and cross‑functional teams to build relationships and develop integrated campaigns that support our business goals.Liaise with internal stakeholders and external collaborators, overseeing everything from prepress preparation to large‑format production pieces.Take feedback with openness and professionalism, adapting quickly and translating input into thoughtful iterations.Manage and prioritize multiple design projects,



ensuring timelines and deliverables are met in a fun, yet rapid‑paced environment.REQUIREMENTS:Degree or diploma in graphic design or a design‑related field.Minimum 4 years of experience in an agency or in‑house creative department.A well‑rounded portfolio demonstrating expertise across both print and digital media – including large‑format signage, marketing campaigns, and digital content.Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); experience with motion graphics and video editing tools (After Effects, Premiere) is a strong asset.Solid understanding of prepress and print production processes.Extensive knowledge and experience creating content for social media.Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey design concepts to both creative and non‑creative stakeholders.YOU CHECK ALL THE BOXES IF YOU:Have a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for design and development in a retail environment.Are dynamic, driven, a good‑listener, team‑oriented, with the ability to handle and learn from constructive criticism.Pride yourself on your communication skills that are based on an open, collaborative, and solution‑focused mindset.Are passionate about health and wellness and have an interest in working with natural and organic brands.Aportfolio is requiredas part of your application for this position.
