Job OpportunityLocation: Maple RidgeSalary Range: $31.53 - $36.94 per hour (placement on scale based on qualifications and experience relevant to position).OverviewAs a member of the Maple Ridge WorkBC Centre team, the Career Coach (Youth) plays a dynamic role working with youth who are looking for employment and supporting the daily operations of the Centre.ResponsibilitiesIndividual SupportConduct needs assessment to identify strengths and employment barriersDetermine eligibility for financial supports and servicesTailor services to individual client needsAssist client with development of individualized action plans that clearly outline goals, service needs, and steps to achieve desired employmentProvide ongoing client support including documenting progress and outcomes using the Ministry approved databaseAssess and refer for specialized assessments when needed (including medical assessment reports, psychological and vocational, learning disability, neuropsychological, and functional capacity)Provide coaching and support toward employment or further educationMaintain regular contact to monitor progress and provide motivationRefer clients to community supports as neededCommunity OutreachProvide outreach for case managed services as neededParticipate in committees with the mandate of supporting youthRepresent the Maple Ridge WorkBC Centre through participation in community events, such as career fairs, community days, and other special eventsAdministrationTrack client progress and maintain accurate records in ICMManage distribution and tracking of financial supportsComplete and submit required reportsMonitor performance targets and review with the Centre ManagerTeam CollaborationParticipate in team meetings and case conferencingFoster a respectful,
