About this opportunity:

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Specialist to support and manage key components of an enterprise compliance program within a highly regulated environment. This role has been created to provide leave coverage and will play a critical part in regulatory compliance activities, compliance risk management, monitoring and testing, regulatory filings, stakeholder engagement, and compliance program administration.The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders and stakeholders across the organization to support compliance initiatives, drive regulatory readiness, manage risk assessment activities, and ensure ongoing adherence to applicable regulatory requirements. This opportunity is ideal for a compliance professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys working independently, and has experience supporting enterprise-wide compliance programs.





What You’ll Do:

- Manage the annual Risk & Compliance Management (RCM) cycle across multiple business units.
- Support the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the enterprise compliance program.
- Lead quarterly compliance meetings, workshops, awareness sessions, and compliance education initiatives.
- Coordinate compliance incident intake, assessment, escalation, and response activities.
- Conduct monitoring and testing of regulatory controls and compliance processes.
- Prepare and manage regulatory filings and support insurer licensing maintenance activities.
- Perform broker sponsorship due diligence reviews.
- Support regulatory readiness initiatives and compliance program improvements.
- Coordinate annual compliance risk assessments and attestations across business units.
- Administer compliance management platforms, including reporting, dashboard maintenance, KPI/KRI tracking, and ongoing system support.
- Develop compliance reports and communicate compliance-related risks and findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks.
- Support compliance audits, reviews, and other regulatory initiatives as required.

Must Have

- 3 to 5+ years of compliance experience within a regulated industry.
- Experience supporting enterprise compliance programs.




- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management principles.
- Experience performing compliance monitoring and testing activities.
- Experience managing regulatory filings and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.

Nice to Have

- Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance industry experience.
- Experience within financial services, banking, wealth management, credit unions, or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience with Onspring administration and reporting.
- CIP and/or CRM designation.
- French bilingualism.
