Our comprehensive range of programs and services relies on team-oriented relationships with individuals, businesses, community groups and government bodies to create focused, effective and responsive resources for the community.Position OverviewBCNSP provides direct settlement services for ineligible newcomers for federal immigrant support services. Tailored to Work Permit Holders, Study Permit Holders, and Naturalized Canadian citizens, services address unique integration barriers. By fostering social and economic integration, BCNSP benefits both newcomers and the broader community.The Employer Relations Coordinator assists BC NSP job seekers in gaining connections with employers and organizes networking events and strategic employer engagement activities such as job fairs, and interagency collaborations /partnerships. Participates in community events and promotes BC NSP Employment Services. The Employer Relations Coordinator will collect and disseminate labour market information to BC clients, employers and other stakeholders as needed.
The incumbent will work closely with Employers to support them in gaining an understanding of BC NSP's needs to improve inclusiveness in the workplace.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have a background in Business Administration or Marketing, with at least two years of experience leading teams in fast-paced, performance-driven environments, and a strong foundation in job development, project management, and working with diverse, multi-barriered clients. They will bring strong local labour market knowledge, established business community connections, and proficiency in MS Office and database systems like ICM.Key strengths include leadership, community engagement, collaboration, and a client-centered approach, along with the ability to meet targets, manage sensitive information, and adapt to diverse cultural settings.
