including improved costing and departmental reportingDrive integration with contemporary tools and platforms using available APIs and automationEstablish standardized monthly close processes, checklists, and documentation across all entitiesLeadership & CollaborationManage and mentor accounting staff, including an intermediate accountant and payroll specialistPartner closely with the Payroll Specialist on payroll system consolidation and ongoing coordinationWork collaboratively with existing finance team members to ensure accountability and consistency across business unitsAct as a trusted financial advisor to operational leaders, supporting informed decision‑makingFP&A and Strategic SupportOversee and significantly improve the annual budgeting and forecasting processProvide financial analysis for operational decisions, including capital expenditures and buy‑versus‑lease evaluationsIncrease overall financial effectiveness, reporting quality, and financial visibility across the organizationQualificationsCPA designation (required)5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in multi‑entity or complex operating environmentsExperience with accounting system implementations or migrations (strongly preferred)Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and business practicesHands‑on experience with QuickBooks (Online preferred); Sage 50 experience is an assetDemonstrated ability to build processes, enforce controls, and improve financial disciplineIdeal Candidate ProfileA high‑potential finance professional ready for the next stepComfortable working hands‑on while also thinking strategicallyStrong communicator who can partner effectively with non‑finance stakeholdersOrganized, detail‑oriented, and capable of bringing structure to complex environmentsEEO StatementRandstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
