If you’re passionate about innovation and pushing entertainment boundaries, join our journey and help us create the unknown!JOB DESCRIPTIONAs aSenior Gameplay Animatoron Splinter Cell at Ubisoft Toronto, you will be responsible for creating animations and animation systems for the Player Character and Non-Player Characters (NPC) in Third Person view.What you’ll do:CreateThird-person animationsthat follow the visual language defined by theAnimation Directorand respectgame design constraints .Process and enhancemotion capture data, which is used as a general foundation for our animation systems.Produce high-quality animations usingkeyframe animationas needed.Create Player and NPC animation solutions forbasic locomotion, 3D navigation, combat behaviours, andscripted game moments .Fine-tune animation data with a high level ofprecision, as required by thegame engine, with strong attention to detail.Export and integrate animations according totechnical guidelines, in collaboration with theTechnical DirectororTechnical Animator, as well as designers and programmers.Test, review,



and iterate onanimation systems directly in-game .Work closely with fellowanimators, theAnimation Director, programmers, and designers to deliver featureson time and at the expected quality level .Take ownership of thefinal qualityof animated features delivered in the game.QUALIFICATIONSStrong experience creatinggameplay animationsfor video games.Proven experience in3C animationandthird-person animation systems .Strong expertise inmotion capture data processing .A sharp eye forvisual quality and detail .Anopen and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to find compromises when solving complex problems.Motivation and pride in deliveringhigh-quality work .Flexibility and resilience when adapting toproduction changes .A passion forteamworkand sharing ideas in a creative environment.Solid understanding oftechnical constraintsrelated to game engine integration.Ability to work effectively in amultidisciplinary teamwhile aligning with artistic and technical visions.Familiarity withMotionBuilderis a plus.Experience working on ashipped AAA titleis an asset.CompensationTheannual base salary rangefor this full-time position is$85,000 to $120,000 CAD.
