Our growing Brantford client who is a leader in manufacturing is looking for a Human Resource Generalist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3–4 years related experience and will be responsible for the following:We are actively looking for an HR Generalist to provide day‑to‑day human resources support across two locations in Brantford, Ontario. This position partners employees and leaders to support core HR processes including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, policy interpretation, and compliance with Ontario employment legislation.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations & HR SupportProvide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and workplace issuesSupport employee relations matters, including performance management, attendance, accommodation requests, and conflict resolutionAssist with workplace investigations and documentation, escalating complex matters as appropriateFoster a positive employee experience aligned with company valuesSupport in employee engagement and internal social programsRecruitment & OnboardingSupport full‑cycle recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviews, and offer coordination for hourly positionsFacilitate pre/onboarding activities to ensure a smooth and compliant current‑hire experienceSupport offboarding processes, including exit interviews and termination documentation for all hourly positionsHR Administration & ComplianceMaintain accurate employee records in the HRIS (Bamboo) and training (Percipio)
and ensure that all paperwork is provided to payroll for processingEnsure compliance with Ontario employment legislation (ESA, OHRC, WSIB)Support absence management by tracking days missed and issuing documentation as requiredPerformance & Talent SupportSupport performance review cycles and related documentationConduct investigations and develop recommendations as necessaryAssist managers with goal‑setting and ongoing performance conversations, document performance improvement plans, and coaching conversationsContribute to learning, engagement, and development initiativesPolicy & Process ImprovementAssist in developing, updating, and communicating HR policies and proceduresSupport HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, culture, and complianceContribute to continuous improvement of HR practices and employee experienceAssist in completion of monthly metricsQualifications & Experience RequiredDiploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field2–5 years of progressive HR experience in a Generalist or Coordinator roleWorking knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and best practicesExperience using HRIS and ATS systems (ADP preferred)Previous experience in talent acquisition is a must with a preference for candidates with manufacturing experienceStrong data mindset; leverages data todrivedecision making and influence changeWorking and collaborating with a diverse, multicultural groupSalary: 75K-80KHours: 8am-5pm#J-18808-Ljbffr
