Position Title:Team Lead, AdministrationLocation:leləm̓ YMCA Community Centre (5490 Shortcut Rd, Vancouver, BC)Terms:Permanent, Full-TimeHours:35 hours per weekShift:Shifts may vary and include mornings, evenings and weekend shiftsSalary0-500 Hours $20.50 per hour501-1000 Hours $21.14 per hour1001-1500 Hours $22.42 per hour1500+ Hours $23.63 per hourStart Date:As soon as possibleReports To:Center ManagerNature & Scope:The Administrative Team Lead will report directly to the Center Manager and will work collaboratively with the leadership team. The Administrative Team Lead will be responsible for providing administrative support to the YMCA Facility and Association projects. The Administrative Team Lead is responsible for providing exceptional service to Members and guests of the YMCA and will follow the practices outlined in the Y Way curriculum and the YMCA Core Values.Major ResponsibilitiesSchedule meeting room, gymnasium and facility bookingsOngoing cashouts for Membership staff, including bank depositsCreate internal communications including facility signage, calendars and schedulesProgram invoicingPromote membership sales and services in a positive and professional mannerBuild meaningful relationships through positive daily interaction with YMCA members, visitors, and colleaguesSupport a productive and cheerful team that provides excellent customer serviceBecome proficient in operation of the Active Net customer databaseUse established systems and structures to record and report on member satisfaction, interest trends, and activitiesEnsure the safety of all members, participants, staff,



and property by following YMCA standards/policies/procedures and ensuring they are maintained amongst all members and staffMaintain a neat, orderly, and clean workplace, including all program areas, common spaces, and washroomsAssist with training new staff in procedures and practicesAttend staff meetings, planning sessions and training events as requiredProvide Duty Manager SupportQualificationsCurrent Standard First Aid and CPR-C & AED certificateActiveNet experience/knowledge and assetComputer proficiency, including Microsoft OfficeExperience in fast paced, customer focused environmentDemonstrated high level of organizational and customer service skillsProven decision-making competency and ability to think quickly in difficult situationsSuccessful candidates will be required to provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Reference Check/Vulnerable Sector Search issued no later than six (6) months preceding your start date3 professional referencesEqual Employment OpportunityYMCA BC is committed to creating an inclusive, accessible environment where all members of our community feel valued, respected, and supported.
