This position involves technical expertise, client communication, and teamwork to ensure the well‑being of both patients and pet owners. We are open to full‑time or part‑time schedules.Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist veterinarians in physical exams, diagnostics, and medical treatmentsPerform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and fluid administrationAdminister medications, vaccinations, and prescribed treatmentsMonitor anesthesia and assist in surgical proceduresConduct dental prophylaxis, including scaling and polishingTake and develop radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the veterinarianCollect and process laboratory samples (blood, urine, feces, cytology)Maintain accurate patient records and medical history documentationEducate pet owners on preventive care, post‑surgical care, and treatment plansAssist in emergency situations, providing stabilization and critical care supportEnsure cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of treatment areas and equipmentManage inventory of medical supplies and pharmaceuticalsTrain and mentor veterinary assistants as neededRequired QualificationsLicensed/Registered Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT)
