What you’ll do:Operate, adjust, monitor and repair cap line equipmentResponsible for lubrication of cap line equipment and removal of excess lubricantSet dies in scroll shears and pressesAdjust compound placement to required standardsStay alert to developing mechanical or electrical problems, and take precautionary measures to prevent equipment damageParticipate in and communicate preventative maintenance activities to avoid unscheduled breakdownsPut transfer tickets on finished loads of capsMaintain production, operational records and tinplate/enamel code ID controlsAccurately set code, date stamps and check for legibilityVerify correct tinplate code being processedRecognize defects at any point of production and take appropriate corrective measuresVisually inspect and gauge, verifying that product meets specificationsPerform required quality checks within specification at the defined frequencyReacting to repetitive spoilage (ex: Pressco camera, wicket mark, etc.) to prevent recurring defects within your controlResponsible to report Food Safety and Quality problems to direct SupervisorProvide training on as a needed basisOur facility runs three shifts - must be able to work all threeDays ( 7:00 a.M. - 3:00 p.M)Afternoons ( 3:00 p.M.
