Join our hardware team and grow into a well-rounded electronics designer.
You’ll work alongside experienced engineers on real products that ship with UL, EN, FCC, and CE certifications, gaining hands-on exposure to the full design cycle from schematic to production. This is a role built for someone early in their career who’s eager to learn and ready to take on real design responsibility.
What you'll do:
- Analyze requirements, create schematics, select components, and build prototypes.
- Hand off circuit designs to the Test Jig team and support the PCB layout process.
- Document your designs and support the software team on hardware-related tasks.
- Help bring products through production.
- Track your work in Jira and Confluence, and keep the team updated on progress.
What you’ll learn here:
- The full product lifecycle, from concept to a certified, shipping product.
- Power supplies, battery charging, mixed-signal design, and PCB layout, with mentorship along the way.
- How real hardware gets validated, certified, and manufactured at scale.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid fundamentals in analog and digital circuit design.
- Familiarity with microcontrollers (e.g.
STM32, ESP) and reading schematics.
- A cost-conscious mindset and genuine curiosity about how things work.
- Fluent in spoken and written English for communication with customers and suppliers across Canada and the USA.
Nice to have:
- Coursework, projects, or internship exposure to power supplies or battery chargers.
- Exposure to PCB layout tools.
- Basic firmware/MCU programming.
- Awareness of communication protocols.
