In This Role You WillProvide day to day supervision of work in the distribution centerEnsure associates are trained to meet the distribution center’s work demandsResponsible for all aspects of performance management, staffing, training and development of the assigned workforceCoach and develop associates to meet organizational objectives and personal goalsHandle all administrative duties for hourly associates (vacation requests, personal days, PIP’s, etc.)Manage overall department processes such as debriefing, transfers and fleet (5‑ton trucks) as requiredWork closely in supporting other supervisors and overall delivery operationsSupervise home delivery, inbound/outbound receiving, and order pickingRun reports, route delivery trucks, handle store transfers & building manifestsProvide customer service and support to customers, sales and delivery teams by responding to store e‑mails and incoming telephone callsEnsure that all health and safety standards and regulations are adhered toFacilitate weekly/monthly meetingsThe Qualifications And Experience We Like To SeeA post‑secondary degree or certificate in logistics, supply chain or related discipline is an asset2 to 3 years of previous experience in a warehouse/delivery environment or a supervisory rolePrevious inventory and cycle count experience is requiredExperience with RF picking and WMS/ERP systems (e.G., Oracle) is a definite assetKnowledge and understanding of provincial transportation rules and policies (log books, trip inspections, etc.)Ability to effectively motivate and provide leadership direction, coaching, mentoring and performance management to all associatesCollaborate,
