Brain Injury Rehabilitation Worker – Edmonton, ABSchedule:7am-3pm Monday to Friday, alternating weekends.Starting wage:$20.55 per hour.Hours:40 hours per week.ResponsibilitiesAssist consumers living with a disability to gain greater autonomy in areas such as activities of daily living, cognitive and problem‑solving skillsProvide personal care when requiredProvide service under the guidelines of an Individual Rehabilitation Plan (IRP)Support with community orientation and integrationProvide suicide and crisis interventionLiaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clientsReporting responsibilities such as notes to file, incident reports, data collection, IRP progress reportsFollow the guidelines outlined by the Behaviour Consultant, Program Supervisor and Rehabilitation Services CoordinatorFollow MODC policies and procedures as requiredParticipate in any required training as outlined in MODC policiesQualifications and ExperienceValid driver’s license and reliable vehicle requiredPost‑Secondary Education in Social Services or equivalent experienceWorking knowledge of ABI and rehabilitationExcellent interpersonal communication and organizational skillsDemonstrated team building skillsProven consistency in work performance,



including reliability and flexibilityMust be a strong team memberExcellent time management skills and attention to detailCPR/First Aid certificate requiredPrevious experience working with ABI consumersExperience with Microsoft OfficeProfessionalism in dealing with other service providersAbility to adapt and to be flexible with changing needs of the programCommitted to contributing to a positive working environmentWilling to support with coverage of other shifts when neededEqual Opportunity & Accessibility StatementMODC is committed to a workforce that is reflective of the diverse populations we serve.
