This role involves managing full-cycle accounting responsibilities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll preparation, journal entries, and reconciliations.We seek a candidate with excellent communication skills who thrives in a collaborative team environment. The ability to remain friendly and approachable while effectively juggling multiple deadline-driven tasks is essential.Duties and Responsibilities:The key job functions are:Enter revenue for sales and donationsProcess semi-monthly payrollAssist in preparing month-end general ledger reconciliationsSupport audit preparation as neededConduct GST reconciliations and file quarterly returnsAssist with annual T3010 charity reportingProvide periodic reporting on grant revenue usageAid in annual AGLC reporting and related general ledger entriesAssist in annual budget preparation and quarterly forecastingManage full-cycle accounting and general journal entriesHelp produce and distribute T4, T4A, and T4A-NR formsPerform other duties as assignedEducation:Bachelor’s Degree in a related field,



preference given to those having or working towards a CPA designation.Experience:5+ years experience in a full-cycle Accounting role is requiredPrevious experience working for a non-profit organization is a strong assetSkills:Accuracy and attention to detailAbility to work independently with little to no supervisionExcellent time management and prioritizationExceptional organizational skillsAbility to work with tight deadlinesStrong communications skillsBase Salary: $60,000 – 70,000 per yearSalary based on experienceWork Hours:40 hours per weekFlexible working hours (must be able to work during core hours of 10:00am – 2:00pm)Additional Notes:This opportunity does not include relocation.
