Role Description

This is a full time Senior Highway Engineer role based in Belleville, ON, with flexibility for some remote work. As a Senior Highway Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design, construction, and maintenance of MTO highway infrastructure projects. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting site inspections, analyzing data, preparing reports,



overseeing project budgets and timelines, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of MTO projects.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MTO highway engineering
- Qualifications to meet Key Personnell requirements for all Highway Engineering Specialties listed under RAQs
- Strong knowledge of relevant OPS and MTO desing standards.
- Experience in managing and leading multidisciplinary project teams
- Proficiency in MTO highway design software and other related tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
