Industrial Designer – Decorative Lighting

Overview

Lib & Co is looking for a creative Industrial Designer to join our product development team in Toronto.

You will work on decorative lighting products and custom hospitality projects , from initial concept through design, rendering, technical drawings, prototyping, and production.

We are looking for someone who combines creativity, solid technical skills, and an understanding of how products are manufactured.

This is a product/lighting industrial design position, not an engineering position .

Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 2+ years of industrial or product design experience
- Strong SolidWorks skills
- Strong KeyShot rendering skills




- Strong conceptual product development skills
- Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
- Understanding of value engineering
- Basic understanding of electrical requirements for decorative lighting
- Experience with LED lighting is an asset
- Experience with B2B or custom projects is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Creative with a passion for design and aesthetics
- Experience in decorative lighting, furniture, architectural products, or similar industries is preferred
