Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our restaurant team.

We are a modern Greek restaurant with Sicilian influence. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety standards and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing menu items according to recipes and presentation standards, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality and timely service.

Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, adhering to recipes and presentation guidelines
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure excellent customer experience
- Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy hours




- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients or supplies
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment

Experience

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is required
- Knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and cooking techniques
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Experience in the food industry demonstrating ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong understanding of serving, food preparation, and food industry best practices

We value professionalism, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding dining experiences. Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
