Machobear Studios is an established tech start-up based in Vancouver. We are the creators of liv.rent, an all-in-one platform that connects tenants with landlords. In addition to developing and maintaining our platform, we work on a variety of exciting projects for our clients within the real estate and food industries, providing cutting-edge tech solutions that meet their unique needs.

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist to join our team for a one-year contract with the possibility of extension. This role will take ownership of marketing projects across multiple channels, coordinating internal teams and external partners to move initiatives from planning through execution.

The ideal candidate is a strong marketing generalist who brings sound judgment, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to independently manage projects while aligning with broader marketing and business objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Own marketing projects and workback schedules from brief through completion, coordinating timelines, approvals, and deliverables across teams
- Proactively Identify blockers and recommend solutions to keep projects moving
- Oversee social media and content planning, review content for brand accuracy and consistency, and lead creator strategy including sourcing, budget proposals, partnerships, briefs, and deliverable schedules
- Coordinate website updates and digital initiatives, including SEO, AEO, and GEO
- Conduct and review audits, keyword research, and optimization opportunities, providing recommendations for next steps
- Review marketing, social media, website,



and SEO performance, identify meaningful insights, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Participate in internal and external meetings, translate discussions into clear actions, owners, and deadlines, and manage follow-through with clients, agencies, vendors, creators, media, and other partners.
- Participate in event planning and external relationship management
- Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve content development, research, reporting, and marketing workflows

What You Bring Us:

- 4+ years of experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, social media, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines using project management tools such as ClickUp
- Experience supporting marketing campaigns from planning through execution, optimization, and reporting
- Strong social media and content experience, including content planning, strategy, coordination, copy review, and performance analysis using platforms such as Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics,



and social media management and listening tools such as Gain and BrandWatch
- Familiarity with SEO, AEO, and GEO best practices, website analytics, and performance measurement, with hands-on experience using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Experience coordinating with external agencies, vendors, contractors, or other third-party partners.
- Comfortable delegating and coordinating work across teams, writing clear briefs, creating workback schedules, and assigning action items to internal teams
- Strong judgment, ownership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify blockers and bring forward recommended solutions
- Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and brand consistency.
- Comfortable using AI tools to support marketing workflows
