Overview

Our client is a growing public oil & gas company based in Calgary. Currently there is a need to add a Senior Production Accountant to the team. This is a permanent position reporting to the Production Accounting Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be a key member of our client’s production accounting team, with responsibilities in all aspects of the full production, revenue and royalty accounting cycle. They will work collaboratively with all other departments in the organization ensuring their production and revenue accounting requirements are met while also contributing in ongoing efforts towards continuous improvement. Specific duties include:

- Calculate Monthly APMC rates
- Reconcile monthly revenue bookings to payments as well as non-operated revenues




- Provide oversight and verification of royalty calculations
- Assist in EPAP compliance reporting and processes
- Verifying and validating incoming royalty revenues
- Ensure third party processing fees charged as required

Requirements:

- 10+ years of Production Accounting experience required
- CAPPA membership
- Experience working with complicated gas plants in Alberta
- Experience with PAS, Prodview, and OpenInvoice considered an asset
- Experience with facility contracts, trucking and emulsion/gas handling agreements.
- Efficiency in Excel
- Robust communication skills
