Rose Hill Care at Home Inc. is recruiting qualified family physicians for placement with medical clinics, long-term-care homes, community health organizations and other healthcare facilities across Ontario. Full-time, part-time, temporary and locum opportunities may be available. Key Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose and treat patients within the physician’s authorized scope of practice Provide primary care, preventive care and chronic-disease management Prescribe medications and order appropriate diagnostic tests Refer patients to specialists and coordinate ongoing care Maintain complete, accurate and confidential medical records Collaborate with nurses, personal support workers and other healthcare professionals Follow CPSO standards, applicable Ontario legislation and facility policies Provide respectful, compassionate and patient-centred care Qualifications
Medical degree from a recognized institution Current certificate of registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) Certification in family medicine or other qualifications acceptable for the position Valid skilled liability protection Eligible to bill OHIP when required by the placement Strong communication, clinical judgment and patient-care skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Satisfactory professional references, credential verification and background screening Internationally trained physicians are welcome to apply but must already be authorized by the CPSO to provide the clinical services required by the placement. Compensation
$130–$150 per hour Compensation depends on the placement, location, schedule,
qualifications and experience Full compensation and assignment details will be provided before the physician accepts the placement Benefits and Support
Full-time, part-time, permanent and locum opportunities Flexible scheduling, depending on the placement Assistance matching physicians with suitable healthcare organizations Administrative and onboarding support Opportunities in different communities across Ontario Clear compensation, responsibilities and assignment terms before acceptance Relocation or transition assistance may be available for selected placements Employee benefits, if available, will depend on the healthcare organization and employment arrangement. Independent-contractor placements may not include traditional employee benefits. Hiring Process
